The advertisement for jobs in the State of Upper Austria shall be published depending on the type of the official post to be filled, however at least in the manner customary in the location. The job advertisement for executive functions shall also be published in the Amtliche Linzer Zeitung [official newspaper of Linz].
The admission of persons in state service for a limited or unlimited activity shall be preceded by a job advertisement that is to be posted on the homepage of the State of Upper Austria in any case. In addition, advertisements shall also be posted in other media outlets, however, at least in one Upper Austrian daily newspaper if it concerns a service post which is distinguished from comparable service posts by quantitative and qualitative requirements; this may also take place in the form of a reference to the advertisement on the homepage of the State of Upper Austria.
